Tips to escape from a bad mood

When things don’t go our way we are in a bad mood. When you get angry, impatient, sad or anything else that means you are in a bad mood. Being in a bad mood is not good. One bad feeling attracts many other bad feelings. You may have noticed this, if one thing goes wrong in the morning then whole day is a bad day.. It’s because you let that one thing in the morning affect your whole day.

Shifting bad mood to good mood

Your bad day can be changed in a good day by just shifting your bad feelings to good feelings. How can you do that? Just try following tips which will help you in your mood shifting.

You can add some of the following thing in your daily routine.

1. Take 3 deep breaths

  • Before letting that bad feeling affect your mood just take 3 deep breaths.
  • And think it’s just a little thing why to get bad feeling over it.
  • Breathing will let your body have more oxygen and will help you calm down.
  • For long term calmness– Do at least 30 minutes walk in morning or evening.
  • Keep your cellphone at home so no one can disturb you.
  • Observe the perks of nature.

2. Listen to good music

  • Listening music is best as a mood booster it can get you out of any type of mood.
  • Listening music increases the amount of dopamine a chemical in our brain which is involved in mood regulation and emotional behaviour.
  • It can wake you up or give you energy or can make you sad and make you sleep. Depends on the type of music you listen.
  • So choosing right song or music is essential.

3. Give yourself a good treat

  • You must have experienced this- coming home after a long tired day and when you see food all tiredness is vanished.
  • Have your favourite food like pizza, chocolate or something else. This will give a happy feeling and will also full your stomach.
  • When your taste buds don’t get what they like and when they comes across a chocolate or other sweets they don’t remember actually why they are in a bad mood.
  • For this always go for the food that gives you pleasure.

4. Watch a funny movie

  • Laughter is the best medicine to any problem.
  • Happier thoughts lead to essentially a happier biochemistry.
  • Watch funny movies and laugh and laugh and just laugh..
  • Trust me you’re going to forget why you were in a bad mood.
  • Netflix and youtube have so many options for you.

5. Take good sleep

  • Just switch yourself off for sometime.
  • We sometimes do this with our gadgets when they’re misbehaving we just switch them off for sometime and later they’re good.
  • All you need to do is take a powerful nap of 30 minutes. Don’t sleep the whole day just 30 minutes are enough for a nap.

6. Make a call to your best friend

  • If it’s super super bad mood which even after trying above things it’s not getting better than call your Best friend.
  • Our best friends are the only creatures who knows about us more than ourselves.
  • They will perfectly bring you out of your bad feelings.
